Made In Education Relative:

Made In Education Relative Forster's Education Act 1870, which heralded compulsory state education, made provision for school boards to ensure attendance but they were not compelled to do so, though later Acts strengthened this aspect. More recent Education Acts, however, have reinstated the right of parents to opt to educate their children 'at home', though this has often been made difficult and met with social and administrative disapprobation. This was enshrined in the Education Act 1944 where the term 'education otherwise' was coined, and again in Section 7 of the Education Act 1996 which states:

In general, fewer precautions are necessary in relative assays of gamma radiation. Relative assays made with ion chambers are expressed as ionization currents and those made with pulse counters are expressed as counting rates. Absolute assays are expressed as curies, rutherfords, or disintegration rates. A curie is the disintegration rate of one gram of radium and now is considered to be 37 billion disintegrations per second. A rutherford is one million disintegrations per second.

International Aid.—With the establishment of the United Nations, aid to tropical agriculture on a world scale was set in motion. Through the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (q.v.), progress has been made in education relative to commodity production, handling, marketing, and commerce. Other regional groupings, such as the Colombo Plan (q.v.) and the Organization of American States, carry on technical cooperation and economic development for South and Southeast Asia and Latin America.
