House Of Orange:

House Of Orange CITRANGE, sit'nmj, a hybrid of the trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata) and the sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). The trifoliate orange is a hardy ornamental, with sour, inedible fruit, used as rootstock on which to bud the more tender citrus varieties; the sweet orange is the popular orange of commerce.

Bright shades like these are not for the fainthearted, but they give this room life and energy. The kitchen is one of the few rooms in the house of Orange where strong colour often works really well - units break up Wall space so you're rarely confronted with a whole Wall of colour. Here, the orange ties in well with the deep, honey-coloured pine units. Blue tiles that are as bold as the orange add more impact - pale tiles here might be dominated by the walls.

Use half grapefruit and half can mandarin oranges or fresh orange segments. Melon, orange and grapefruit make a refreshing blend of flavours. Mix together and serve in glasses decorated with fresh mint leaves or a twist of orange.
