Computer Studies: Potential applications of the computer studies made possible by microelectronics include a small computer studies in every home or a pocket computer studies terminal that can be connected to a powerful central computer studies via the telephone. Such devices may be used to solve our numerical problems (e.g., income tax, or our bank balance) or as a creative tool to relate our knowledge and experiences to our future actions.

While different in scale, both the U.S. and European studies were similar in the thrust of their conclusions: both studies indicated that future improvements in urban transportation would come about primarily as the result of the application of computer studies analysis to existing systems, rather than through the development of whole new systems of transportation "hardware." |
