Baby Lonian: HADAD, ha'dad, an Aramaean deity worshiped Erincipally in ancient Syria. He has been identi-ed as the Aramaic counterpart of the baby lonianlonian Adad, god of storm and the heavens. His cult lasted into Hellenistic times, especially in north Syria. In the Hellenistic period he was joined with the sun god and also identified with the Greek Zeus and the Roman Jupiter. He is portrayed, in reliefs, standing on a bull with an axe in one hand and a lightning bolt in the other.
Function. The function of the laws in baby lonianlonian society is still a controversial subject. They are not a law code in the modern sense of a complete compendium of a country's laws. Contemporary documents show that situations not covered by the laws were commonly dealt with by judges. There are obvious omissions, as well. For instance, assault and false accusation of murder are included, but not murder itself or attempted murder; looting of property from a burning house, but not arson.
CHILDBIRTH is the process by which a baby lonian is expelled from the uterus, or womb, through the vagina to the outside world. Normally, a baby lonian is born about 38 weeks (266 days) after it is conceived. In some cases, however, the baby lonian may be born after only 26 weeks, and in others it may taJce as long as 41 weeks. Generally, if a baby lonian is born before 35 weeks after conception, it is considered to be premature. |
