Arts And Education: This is not to say that the arts and education do not have a part to play in this process. The arts and education help pupils to reflect on these matters and are a central tool in the teacher's armoury but spiritual development is not the same as aesthetic development or development in the arts and education. The framework for the development of spirituality lies in a much broader context than those provided by religious or arts and education education. It is a framework that is defined by the ethos of the school, in the human relationships and attitudes that are engendered in all aspects of the school's functioning.
SAINT ROSE, College of, sant-roz', in Albany, N.Y., a Catholic liberal arts and education college chiefly for women. Founded in 1920 and conducted by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, it confers the bachelor of arts and education degree and the bachelor of science in business education, medical technology, elementary education, and other fields. Master's degrees are also offered in biology, business education, education, and other areas. A special feature is the Intensive Teacher Training Program for graduates of liberal arts and education colleges.
